Music Fun For The Whole Family!
Even before beginning lessons at the age of 4, music has been my passion. With 13 years of teaching under my belt, I have had the privilege of teaching a wide variety of students - from 4 to 88 years old! My teaching model is simple: we meet once a week, at your home or my studio, for at least 30 minutes. You will have homework, but it will be worth every moment you put into it!
I love my students, and refuse to teach them how to be musical robots. We have fun, earn prizes, perform at recitals at least twice a year, and grow as musicians together. We will focus on the style and different pieces you want to learn, while learning techniques and skills that will translate to any other instrument you should choose to pick up down the road!

My daughter started lessons at only 4 years old, and is already so accomplished! Katie has encouraged her through the first steps of learning and helps stoke her desire to practice and play. Now my daughter cannot wait to practice, and looks forward to her lessons each week! Could not have asked for a better teacher for my little one.
